Internships. Brief overview of the situation in Spain.
This paper is based on experiences by several people working in two areas: Design-Advertising and Cultural Management. Therefore this has not scientific bases and is intended to be a reflection on the information gathered informally.
There are two major types of internship contracts in Spain:
One is supposed for students (graduate, master or even professional training programs) who are about to get their degree or just out of the program. These are what we call “becarios” —this word being used in two ways: literally people with a fellowship, participating in a research at university or, in this case, in the sense of an internship in a firm.
